Split pea soup is one of our winter favorites. (Of course, it's great any time of the year!) But I recently discovered pigeon peas, and they may be replacing regular split peas in a lot of our cooking!
Set the Ninja Foodi to "Sauté". Melt the butter and sauté the onion, garlic, celery, and carrots for about 5 minutes. The onions should be soft and translucent.
