How To Strain Frozen Spinach with a French Press

Let's face it, straining frozen spinach can be messy. You can squeeze it with your hands, squeeze it in cheesecloth, or put it in a colander and wait forever to drain. Fortunately, there's a faster and cleaner method: Use a French Press!

Equipment

  • 1 French press

Materials

  • 1 package Frozen spinach thawed

Instructions

  • Put the frozen spinach into the French press.
    Straining Spinach put the spinach in a French Press
  • Insert the plunger.
    Straining Spinach put the plunger in
  • Press down hard on the plunger.
    Straining Spinach press down on the plunger and pour off the julce
  • Pour out the juice.
    Straining Spinach one half cup of juice from two packages of frozen spinach
